Judith Anderson, MFA

Often cited as the most powerful and influential tragedy in world literature, Hamlet is also Shakespeare’s most famous work. Say “to be or not to be” in just about any country and the locals will know that you’re quoting Shakespeare. Hamlet returns to the Old Globe Theatre this summer, and this seminar will enhance our appreciation of the production by deep diving into the many issues explored in the play. Each of the five sessions will cover one Act of the classic revenge drama.

Thursday, July 6: Act I

Monday, July 10: Act II
